Who We Are
We are Make Change Possible e.V., or MCP for short. We are a small, registered, charitable, non-governmental organization, supporting educational and sustainability programmes in Mayana, Namibia.
We believe that change is possible through education:
lifelong learning and learning from life.
People in Mayana do not have access to clean water or electricity. They are subsidiary farmers who are heavily affected by droughts as a result of climate change. 70% of students in the Kavango East Region fail out of school, setting them up for lifelong challenges. Everyone deserves a chance. Education can change lives.
Our Programmes & Projects
We work with the Mayana community year-round, supporting a local team in running projects and programmes to improve education, nutrition, health, and business development aiming for sustainability and independence.
MCP provides personal opportunities for people to meet as equal partners across nations and languages, to support the development of world citizenship at the grassroots level.
